YARD WASTE DROP-OFF SITE
The City's Yard Waste Site, located 2000 W. Mt. Pleasant, is now open to West Burlington Residents. Enter the lot from Washington Rd. and follow all posted rules and signage.

DES MOINES COUNTY LANDFILL
West Burlington residents can take Grass, Leaves, and branches to the County Landfill at NO charge. To use this option, show your West Burlington Water bill when you arrive. Permitted: Grass, leaves, limbs.
CURB SIDE PICK-UP
Council has decided to continue offering curbside pick-up of biodegradable leaf bags on Monday mornings beginning October 18 - November 29. Leaves must be in biodegradable bags at the front curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday mornings. This service is for residents living inside the West Burlington city limits. Permitted: LEAVES ONLY
YARD WASTE CART
Another convenient and affordable option is to rent a Yard Waste Cart from LaVeine Sanitation. Cart Rental is $2.00 per month and $4.75 each time you call to have the cart emptied. Yard Waste Carts are available April - November and are picked up on Wednesdays. Call LaVeine Sanitation at 319-753-0405 to make arrangements for a Yard Waste Cart.
